Yufeng Dong holds an M.Eng. degree in automation from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Southampton. He began his career as a Lecturer at Tsinghua University, focusing on high-resolution X-ray industrial tomography and 3-D microtomography. He then worked as a Senior Staff Design Engineer at GE Medical Systems, developing data acquisition systems and X-ray detectors for CT systems. Later, as CTO of Wangtong Technologies, he oversaw EDA consulting services and SoC hardware validation. Currently, he is a Research Associate at the University of Southampton, specializing in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, particularly for MEMS sensors and control systems.

Gert Andersson, Ph.D., has a background in studying the impact of defects on silicon PN-junctions and has since focused on MEMS sensors, including accelerometers and gyros. He held various roles at Chalmers University, including researcher, lecturer, and project manager for the MC2 Microtechnology Centre. In 1999, he played a key role in establishing the Imego institute, which later became part of RISE. With over 50 publications, 20 patent portfolios, and significant contributions to commercial MEMS products like the Butterfly-gyro, Andersson has extensive experience in MEMS R&D, business development, and intellectual property strategy. Now retired, he selectively engages in projects benefiting industry and society
